We loved our short stay at U Boutique Hotel. Our room was very spacious, the furniture was modern and very comfortable. There was a full kitchen so we could cook a few meals. The location was convenient to explore all the main sights downtown. Maybe we got lucky and got an upgrade, but we had tons of space and could've definitely stayed longer! Highly recommend visiting the Te Papa museum which is nearby and free

What a great hotel! The room was nice with a balcony. The shared bathroom was large and clean. Hot water. The staff was nice and welcoming. The breakfast was great! Within walking distance of New World, Cubs St, the train station, the harbour, the cable car etc.

Great location and very clean.
It is not a luxury hotel but such great price. Must admit, they upgraded our room so we definitely got our money worth.
They allow pets which is a bonus for pet owners.
Staff was friendly and helpful, although they aren't there all the time.
Check in was pretty straight forward, you just need to read the email instruction carefully.
We left our luggage there as we had a whole day before our evening flight and they were very helpful.

Lovely staff, very accommodating. Comfortable bed, good shower. Continental breakfast very basic, but nice. The only cereal was Musli, they kept that well topped up.
Nice and clean, no air conditioning, but lovely air flow anyway, so wasn't needed. Carpark was to small for a big vehicle, but perfect for smaller car. Good location.
Overall happy and will recommend to others.

Great location and good room. We stayed as a group of five in the family room. I will be really clear - it is small - like a European hotel room but it has all you need. The toilet and shower are attached to the room and there are coffee/tea making facilities and a small fridge. It’s actually two rooms which is useful if you have children. There is also access to a small balcony where you can sit. There is construction next door but there was none happening while we were there. The hotel also supplies ear plugs but work doesn’t start until 7.30 and in a city you’d be woken by traffic at that time anyway.

There are two off steeet parking spots but also public on street parking. If you arrive after 5 I imagine on street parking would be easy to find. It’s free over night and there are also private car parks nearby.

There is access to laundry facilities and the manager was very helpful when I asked for assistance.

I would definitely recommend this quirky but lovely little hotel.

Funky renovated guest house style. Small rooms but ideal for a solo traveller or couple. Good location close to Cuba St and walkable to the CBD.
HOWEVER the internet connection was awful. Both wifi access points either dropped in and out or connected without internet. A small gripe, but a big problem if you have a webinar or urgent work to do. Host PJ was nice but unable to help. Net problems make a 5 star place only 4 stars. Real shame.

PJ the host was extremely helpful and very flexible. We needed to change the size of our room and also needed a late checkout and somewhere to store our bags - PJ arranged all of this and it was not a problem.

Beds were comfortable, room was very clean, our ensuite was spacious. Very good value.

Location is excellent!

Would stay again and would recommend.

Located on a not so busy street, Parking was easy.

Awesome Room. PET FRIENDLY I loved how they left a treat for my dog when we arrived.

We loved our stay with U Boutique Hotel in June 2022. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. The highlights are: PJ is a great host and very flexible to your needs! The apartment is central, very stylish (high ceilings) and clean. The sheets are good quality. There is good WIFI, entertainment and we appreciated the tips on where to eat.

Lovely little spot in the heart of Wellington. We had the rooftop spa room. Friendly service that is contactless. I would go again.

My review is 2years late but I will never forget how wonderful this place was. We had been on a long drive down to Wellington from Auckland to attend a funeral and had arrive at 4am in the morning the funeral was at 10am. There was no other place open that would take our booking that early even when we were willing to pay extra they would not allow us to enter our room early until I tried U Boutique Hotel. They were so welcoming and UNDERSTANDING over the phone and quickly set us up for that morning. Our room was nice and warm and the faciality was nice and clean the staff was so helpful, kind and so respectful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a warm and friendly place to stay and we would definitely be booking with you guys again.

My go to place to stay when in Wgtn. Perfect central location and I like having the washing machine in my room.

Love the location. Great communication Clean and tidy. Harbour and city view gorgeous. Big television. I am currently using a knee scooter to get around. Torn ligament. Good size living spaces to get around, no trouble. Our new favorite Accomadation in the city. Couple carpark spaces near front entrance car parking a skip and a jump away. wheel chair accessible. Close to city and te papa. Looking forward to the vibes and celebrating Matariki on the waterfront

The location was so close to the waterfront and Courtney Place. The room was clean, fresh and spacious. The cost was very good for what the rooms provided. The staff were so friendly and warm. The service was amazing. Can't complain and would definitely stay here again if we are in Wellington. Top notch!

Great place to stay in Wellington. Contactless check in ams check out was so easy. The room was very tidy and comfortable and we had a view of the Harbour. Although I don't currently have a dog, I love that they are pet friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

Chinmay made our lives so easy in a very difficult time, going the extra mile leaving my mother a bottle of wine for her birthday (which was spent in the hospital with my dad). Location is perfect, service amazing and facilities were everything that was needed. Completely recommend

Good clean accomodation with great location to shops, restaurants and beach. Nothing fancy but all you need.

I see some poor reviews for U Studios but we found the rooms very comfortable and clean. Reasonably close to the beach, only around 40 minutes from the ferry terminals we would happily stay again. I wondered if they have been the victim of staff shortages like so many other small businesses.

Really relaxing enjoyed my stay there, very helpful staff.

Overall an easy place to stay. Exterior needs some work but our room was well mainly- clean and tidy. No onsite reception, need to ring them.

Good clean tidy units, great service. Even took me to the Nelson Airport free of charge.

I stayed here for a year while helping with TG construction.

I tried a variety of motels and settled on UStudios because of the location, and staff.
Also good value.
Looking forward to stay again in March.

Really nice apartment. Wouldn't have wanted the front ones as it was above a pub so a bit noisy. There was only a couch in lounge and there was 5 of us so would have been nice to have more chairs like in picture. But overall it was a great location and clean apartment. I would stay there again.

Clean and spacious. Very accessible to the city centre and airport.

Very cool decor, clean and tidy. The most comfortable bed and pillows!! Contactless checkin was a breeze.
Met Anu (manager) the next morning, she was pleasant and helpful.

Arnu was most accomodating and kind - I had to change my booking due to a funeral, and she went out of her way to help me. The facilities were also excellent.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and well equipped, we enjoyed using the welcoming communal facilities (kitchen, laundry, breakfast area, outdoor courtyard). The ability to socialise with other guests is uncommon for a motel and much appreciated after the days of covid.

Clean, tidy, quiet. Such a neat little place to stay.. great value for money. Loved the character of the house.

What a great hotel! Lovely rooms with ensuites and all the amenities. Great communal kitchen, dining and living areas and outdoor al fresco seating as well. Very close to town and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

This place is such a dream and so well run. Extremely clean. Free use of washing machine and dryer was a bonus. Would happily stay again.

Lovely building and facilities. Great to be able to self check in.
Only issue we had was there was no air conditioning unit and it was very hot In mid January - so we needed to open the windows. Haven Rd is quite a busy road so it was noisy and sleep was disturbed . Apart from this - it was a very nice place to stay .

A beautiful historic building turned into a holiday home! We had the whole house to ourselves. Neat. Clean. Pleasant. Comfortable. Affordable.

Clean, simple and perfect for us We stayed at U studio for one night on a girls' weekend away. The room had everything that we needed. somewhere clean and safe to stay, with friendly staff.

The bed was comfy, the kitchen had all we needed - tea / coffee facility, fridge, stove, free milk on arrival.

The rooms had a standalone fan, and heaters. Plus an Iron and ironing table.

We would definitely by back to U Studio. Thank you team for making our stay comfortable.

WONDERFUL & AFFORDABLE Great accomodation here for the family! The Villa is beautiful and has a very warm feeling like it is your own place. The Manager on site has exceptional service and the facilities are pristine and very clean. I would recommend this place 100%. The Villa can hold up to a group of 12!! That’s a house all to yourselves!
Definitely use again next time I am down in Masterton.

Nice It was good place to stay modern tv,only we whinge is the wifi didn’t work in all the rooms,but over all it was good place to stay,will be going back,tidy rooms,beds were good to sleep in,over all good place.

Quiet and comfortable stay Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Very cozy place. There was space in front of unit so able to park car.

Despite of arriving after 7pm, manager came straightaway to assist me.
There were everything I needed for overnight stay.
Definitely will stay again.
